Thanks for posting.
I remember some people telling me that UTC is immune because of proximity to jobs, UCSD and La Jolla. Rich students have families that would be willing pay any price. So they said.

Me too, thank you jpinpb! UTC's important because it's as low as I'll go for raising children in a starter.

To think I was once priced out of houses in Mira Mesa. I'd rather have a condo in UTC despite its shortcomings.

By the time the dust settles, you'll be able to get a place in UTC for a very good and low price, IMO.
